“After a long hiatus, I was finally getting hitched. Personally, for me, after finding the perfect groom , the second most important thing was finding the right wedding card. I was certain that I didn’t want the same old, cliché, traditional wedding card. My wedding card had to be unique, individualistic.

When we searched online for some creative ideas, there was nothing. True, the Internet has abundant information but most of it was mundane. While there were a lot of designing ideas, there was absolutely zilch on wedding invitation write ups, rather Indian wedding invitations. It took me a while but I finally penned the perfect copy for my wedding card, and realized this is one unexplored avenue in the Indian wedding industry…” Vinita, one of the founders says.

That is why, along with her business partners and fellow writers, Ruma and Pankaj, ‘Invitation Writers’ was formed.

‘Invitation Writers’ has a team of experienced writers, all of who are former Journalists and writers. So if you are looking to add a creative, personalized twist to your wedding card; you know whom to contact!


About the Founders


Vinita is a Bachelor’s of Mass Media Graduate with a post graduation degree in Creative Writing. She met Ruma on one of her freelance assignments. They have worked together over the past few years and realized their partnership clicked- professionally and personally. She is all set to release her first novel.

Ruma has over twenty years of experience in writing and is currently, an associate editor with Premium Investments. She is based out of Dubai, and is reputed to have way with words!
